Apart from deleting suggestions, you can also try and control them with some simple steps mentioned in the following guide.

And that’s where the behavioral data trick helps in getting things right on the screen.
Since Siri uses app activity data to display more frequently used apps in suggestions, you can try a couple of steps to feature your favorite apps.
Here’s what you need to do –
- Open an app that you wish to see in Suggestions.
- Perform some activity on it for a few minutes. For eg., reading different news stories on BBC News app.
- Close the app and repeat the procedure multiple times in a day.
What happens next?
Depending on your activity (time spent, frequent visits, etc.) on other apps, Siri will analyze the data in background processing while you’re busy operating the phone.
Once it collects enough reliable information to take the decision, it will automatically display your favorite app as one of the suggestions on the screen.
Isn’t it awesome? With this trick, you can pretty much command Siri to list some of your desired apps. It might seem like a tedious process, but it will solve the purpose for those who don’t want to remove the widget from the devices.
So, there you go! Now, you don’t have to bother about unnecessary app suggestions in Spotlight search. You will only see certain relevant apps for your daily use.
